Lisa Nadig appears in concert, recital, opera, cabaret and musical theater in Chicago, the Midwest, and Europe. A highly versatile artist, her repertoire spans many styles and genres, from classical to popular to jazz, and everything in between.
Highlights of Chicago engagements include recitals and concerts with the Chicago Symphony Outreach, and appearances with OperaViva! as Mimi in La Boheme, and Opera San Benedetto as Nedda in I Pagliacci.

In Europe, Ms. Nadig was engaged as the soprano soloist at Mozart’s own cathedral, the Dom in Salzburg, Austria. Concert highlights in the Midwest include the Rockford University Forum Series, and the Freeport Community Concert Series, where she premiered works by Stockton composer, Ronald Hill.

Lisa has been a winner of several national voice competitions, including The MacAllister Awards, and the Bel Canto Competition. Upcoming concert engagements will feature the premiere of works by New York composer, Bruce Lazarus.
A highly sought after teacher, Ms. Nadig’s music education career includes an engagement as a neighborhood teaching artist with the Chicago Symphony. At the university level, Lisa taught voice, music history for music majors and music appreciation for non-majors.

Ms. Nadig has taught in private and public school music programs, and works with voice and piano students of all ages and levels in her private studio. Her conducting career spans a diverse repertoire of vocal and instrumental works.

As a professional church musician, Lisa has worked with several faith affiliations and easily pivots between many musical styles and roles, including soloist, cantor and soprano section leader for downtown Chicago cathedrals, soloist with Chicago Synagogues, choir director, liturgical planner and coordinator, as well as contemporary Christian praise and worship leader.
Lisa’s most cherished career is the most important and fulfilling one in the world – Mom!


Ms. Nadig holds Master and Bachelor degrees from the prestigious DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. She studied with internationally and nationally recognized teachers, including Norman Gulbrandsen, George Tenegal, and Margaret Harshaw.
